Nostalgia, seems to be the drive behind price hikes on old things! As Jannine D likes to put it, "The use of nostalgia has been a top trend in marketing in the last few years, in commercials, product lines and even TV shows."
So it's no surprise that while at my local bottle shop, I was drawn to this beer. It instantly brought back memories from my childhood – the books, game boards, and TV shows. They all had a distinct '70s graphic design of hard, bold defined colour lines.
I instantly knew I had to do a photoshoot with this to recapture that childhood memory. Without hesitation, this concept came straight to me. Having those beautiful, eye-catching lines of the '70s appearing to burst out of the can, almost as though the beer itself is exploding out!
